I have been an owner in the building for 13 years, am a licensed real estate agent, and have served as President of the Board since 2017.
My experience has provided me with the knowledge and ability to understand the budget and finances of the organization while in turn debating and executing proposed ideas. SoCo is a multi-million dollar organization and a beautiful place to call home.
II have been a homeowner for over 25 years, including two prior homes in Massachusetts of the same vintage as SoCo. II have been a homeowner for over 25 years, including two prior homes in Massachusetts of the same vintage as SoCo. Many of the lessons I learned from buying, maintaining/improving, and reselling these properties are applicable to running our building, including the challenges endemic to older buildings and structures. Educationally, I believe that my graduate work in engineering from Dartmouth and MBA from MIT in finance and strategy help me to understand and bridge the structural/mechanical, operational, and financial needs of SoCo, ensuring that we optimize investments in our building while running the day-to-day operations efficiently. Professionally, I work in the telecommunications industry, where I consult with wireless operators globally on optimizing the strategy and economics of wireless network investments.
SoCo is a great place to live. I love this building and its story, and I want to help however I can. I want to channel the passion in the community to achieve goals. Previously, I taught High School for 14 years and currently work in Human Resources as a Project Manager. I also worked at a technology start-up and was the go-to person
SoCo is a great place to live. I love this building and its story, and I want to help however I can. I want to channel the passion in the community to achieve goals. Previously, I taught High School for 14 years and currently work in Human Resources as a Project Manager. I also worked at a technology start-up and was the go-to person to get things done. I helped maintain our buildings, staff, and operations and want to bring that skill set to the community.
I have supported 10 medical facilities and 14 oral surgeons for the last 13 years. I now support 188 medical practices for digital marketing. My experience includes LIT, building repairs, budgets, retention, practice support, and public relations. My goals are to provide support for our residents, explore solutions to ongoing issues, and working to make SoCo a great place to live.
I worked for an international management consulting firm for 20 years and have served on the Board of Directors for two (2) different organizations; Explore and the Dallas Bead Society. My focus is on strengthening our financial position, increasing board transparency, and enhancing communication.
